1. Overview

At Solex, we want you to be completely satisfied with our service. This Refund Policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for different subscription plans.

All payments are processed securely by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record, who handles billing, VAT, and refund processing on our behalf.

2. Founding Member Plan

Founding Members enjoy our most generous refund policy as a thank you for your early support:

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Try Solex risk-free for 30 days. If you're not completely satisfied, we'll issue a full refund, no questions asked.

  • Full refund if requested within 30 days of purchase
  • No questions asked
  • Processed via Lemon Squeezy within 5-10 business days
  • Refund issued to original payment method

3. Future Plans

We are currently in our Founding Member phase. Refund policies for future subscription plans will be clearly communicated before general launch.

At minimum, all UK customers are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 for distance sales.

4. Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your Solex subscription at any time:

  • Cancel through your account settings
  • Or email us at support@solex.dev
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You'll retain access until the end of your paid period
  • No partial refunds for unused time (except during money-back guarantee period)

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email us at support@solex.dev
  2. Include: Your account email and reason for refund (optional)
  3. We'll respond within 24-48 hours to confirm
  4. Refund processed by Lemon Squeezy within 5-10 business days
  5. Refund appears on your statement depending on your bank (typically 3-5 days)

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Refund requests made after the money-back guarantee period
  • Violations of our Terms of Service
  • Accounts terminated for abuse or fraudulent activity
  • Third-party services or add-ons (if applicable)

7. Payment Processing

All payments and refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record:

  • Lemon Squeezy handles all billing, VAT, and tax compliance
  • Your card statement will show "Lemon Squeezy" or "LMS*Solex"
  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method
  • For payment issues, Lemon Squeezy support can also assist

8. EU/UK Consumer Rights

If you are based in the UK or EU, you have additional rights under consumer protection law:

14-Day Cooling-Off Period: Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (UK) and Consumer Rights Directive (EU), you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of subscription, even outside our money-back guarantee period.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the service after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when the policy was last revised.
